I will show you how to fix League of Legends client not opening with easy steps.

  1. Close All League Programs: Open Task Manager. Find League and Riot processes. End all tasks. Wait 30 seconds. Try opening client again.
  2. Run as Administrator: Find LeagueClient.exe in C:\Riot Games\League of Legends. Right-click. Select Run as Administrator.
  3. Fix Compatibility: Right-click Riot Client. Select Properties. Click Compatibility. Run troubleshooter. Apply fixes.
  4. Repair Game Files: Open client. Click Settings icon. Select Initiate Full Repair. Wait for completion.
  5. Delete Config Files: Go to League folder. Open RADS/system. Find user.cfg. Change leagueClientOptIn=yes to no. Save file.
  6. Force Update: Go to RADS/Projects folder. Delete league_client and lol_game_client folders. Restart PC. Open client.
  7. Update Drivers: Open Device Manager. Find Display Adapters. Update graphics drivers.
  8. Clean Install: Uninstall League. Delete Riot Games folder. Empty Recycle Bin. Download fresh client. Install game.
