Does League of Legends anti cheat work on Mac? The answer has changed recently with Riot's announcement of Vanguard 2 for macOS.
Before this update, League used an older anti-cheat called Packman on Mac systems. This system proved less effective, leading some cheaters to switch to macOS to avoid stricter anti-cheat measures.
Riot Games now brings their Vanguard anti-cheat to Mac in a version called embedded Vanguard (mVG). This system works differently from the PC version.
